Woldingham Online Flower Show

CLASS 30:
Limerick:
Whilst walking on the Glebe I saw

FIRST PLACE

Sophia Elliott

Whilst walking on the Glebe I saw

Fat juicy blackberries ga-lore

I picked for an hour

But some were sour

So I waited then picked some more

SECOND PLACE

Jane Scott:

Whilst walking on the Glebe I saw

The vicar coming out his door

Hot on his trail

Was a cat with no tail

With a mouse hanging out of his Jaw

THIRD PLACE

Nigel Hodd

Whilst walking on the Glebe I saw

3 Fire engines or maybe more

The fir trees alight

A terrible sight

Such idiotic behaviour I do abhor.

Lottie McVicker:

Whilst walking on the Glebe I saw,

A old man with two paws,

I was so shocked I dropped my jaw,

And knew it was certainly time to withdraw.
